Monet does not collect personal data and does not create user accounts. The app contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
If the user enables the weather display and grants the location permission, the approximate location (latitude and longitude) is transmitted via HTTPS to the weather service open-meteo.com in order to retrieve local weather data. Monet does not store this information. The permission can be revoked at any time in the Android system settings.

If the user opens the in-launcher gallery to choose a custom wallpaper, Monet requests permission to read images and videos stored on the device (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, or READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android versions). The gallery is required because the system photo picker is not designed for D-pad / TV remote navigation.
The selected media file is stored locally as the launcher background. Monet does not upload, transmit, or share any photos or videos. The permission can be revoked at any time in the Android system settings.
Premium features are unlocked through Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled exclusively by Google. Monet does not receive any payment information.
Monet displays posters and titles from TV apps installed on the device (Continue Watching, Live Channels) using the Android TvContract API. The associated images are loaded directly from the respective providers; Monet does not transmit any user data in the process.
